Clinics & Services

In addition to GP consultations the practice also provides the following healthcare services:

  • Accupuncture  - call 01483 419122 for information.
  • Asthma & Spirometry - regular monitoring of asthmatics is recommended and you are advised to make an appointment with the Practice Nurse.
  • Baby & child - care shared between the GPs and health visitor. We offer a child development check at 6-8 weeks of age.
  • Blood pressure checks - this clinic is held every Wednesday morning by appointment only and is designed to support those patients, whose blood pressure is poorly controlled, providing comprehensive screening, advice and relevant medication.
  • Blood tests - this clinic is held every Wednesday morning by appointment only or alternatively at the walk-in service at Farnham Hospital 8.00-4.00 Monday-Friday.
  • Cervical smears - female patients should have regular cervical smears. Please book an appointment at reception.
  • Child & family counselling - see your GP to be referred to an appropriate counsellor.
  • Contraceptive services - including IUCDs, implants and emergency contraception. Female patients considering a coil need to see a GP initially to confirm suitability.  It is then important to have some routine swabs 2 weeks before the fitting. For those considering an implanon you will also need to see a GP first.


  • Cryotherapy Clinic - regular clinics for the treatment of warts and other superficial skin problems using specialised freezing techniques.  Appointments for the wart clinic should be made after an initial consultation with one of our doctors.
  • Diabetes - progress should be carefully monitored to reduce the long term risks associated with diabetes, such as heart disease and deteriorating eyesight. Please see your GP.
  • Flu Clinics - If you are eligible please remember to book an appointment. Flu clinics will be advertised in the surgery and on our web site in the "Latest News" section.
  • Immunisations - Child and Adult immunisations are available with the Practice Nurse. You need to have a tetanus and polio booster every ten years. We also offer a flu vaccine each year from October to patients in the "at risk" groups.
  • INR Clinic - our Practice Nurses provide a one-stop test and result service for selected patients on Warfarin.
  • Maternity services - the Frimley Park Hospital midwives run a fortnightly antenatal clinic by appointment only at the surgery on a Friday afternoon.
  • Minor surgery - the Surgery has a well equipped treatment room and carries out a range of minor surgical procedures including the removal of small lumps or moles and and excision of ingrown toe-nails. Appointments for a minor operation should only be made after an initial consultation with one of the doctors.
  • Physiotherapy - please book an appoinment at reception to see our private physiotherapist.
  • Podiatry - please book an appoinment at reception to see our private podiatrist.
  • Psychotherapy - call 07954 582350 for information
  • Teenage Sexual Health - advice can be given by the Practice Nurse on the telephone or by appointment. Please be assured that all issues will be dealt with sensitively and in confidence.
